BARMM, 03 DEC 2019 – Sometimes, quelling violent extremism violently is the best alternative.
This holds true when all peace avenues are exhausted to protect the lives of women, children, elders, religious workers and non-combatants against any forms of violent extremism.
An old adage says: ‘Only iron can clip iron’.
Preventing and countering violent extremism was the topic given to His Eminence Mufti Abuhuraira A. Udasan before the trainees held at DOS, Maguindanao earlier this morning.
