BARMM – 12-13 and 14 October 2021 – Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta’ employees participated in a one-day “Strategic Communications 101: Towards Peace, Governance and Hope in the Bangsamoro” at Kutawato Hall of Em Manor Hotel, organized by the Strategic Communications Capacity Building (SCCB) Network, in partnership with the Bangsamoro Information Office (BIO). In observance of minimum health protocols, participants from different Ministries, Offices, and Agencies were clustered into three. The said workshop aims to aid and train participants in strategic communication.
The resource person, Dr. Haroro J. Ingram virtually presented essential steps and notes to take into account in strategic communication. He discussed in detail the psychology of persuasive communication, crisis communication, how to manage expectations, maintain project credibility, and countering spoilers, as well as the principles of strategic communication.
Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta’ representatives actively took part in various practical activities conducted, putting into practice what they have learned and gained from the particular workshop.
