BARMM, 16 APRIL 2020 – Ulama of Darul Ifta’ headed by Mufti of Bangsamoro Abuhuraira A. Udasan held a meeting yesterday afternoon April 15, 2020 concerning moonsighting for upcoming Ramadan 1441H. After discussion, they agreed that the moonsighting will be on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. If the moon is sighted on that day, the first day of Ramadan would be Thursday, April 23, 2020, In shᾶ Allah. However, if it not sighted then Thursday will be the 30th day of Shaɛbᾶn, and Friday, April 24, 2020 is the first day of Ramadan. The moonsighting result will be announced on April 22 at 8:00 P.M. in our official Facebook Page and media partners.
