BARMM, 22 August 2019 – The Mufti is invited by the BTA Secretary-General to attend the series of BTA Parliament Sessions set on August 22, 23, 27& 28, 2019 at SKC every 1:30 pm. He will serve as a referral of Islamic guidance in formulating BARMM policies.
Undeniably, there are issues confronting the BTA in crafting laws that necessitate fatwa or Islamic Rulings so as not to transgress the Glorious Qur’an and Sunnah of the Messenger (peace and blessing be upon him).
For example, if the Islamic banking will be embraced by the Bangsamoro Government, what will be the features of this banking in compliance to Islamic Law.
