BARMM, 24 June 2019 – An academe from the Notre Dame University (NDU) interviews The Mufti regarding the permissibility of vaccination in Islamic perspective.

“Preventing diseases is mandatory in Islam. In the process of prevention, we can employ any methods or procedures that are not inconsistent with the Glorious Qur’an snd The Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him. For instance, vaccination against measles is lawful unless it is detrimental to health.” The Mufti explained.
